North Carolina State Purchasing Agencies

The HUB Office works with State Agency Purchasing Officials to inform them about the HUB Program, including its initiatives and goals. In August 2006, Gov. Michael F. Easley signed Executive Order 106, in which each Executive Branch agency is directed to increase the total amount of goods and services acquired by it from HUB firms. Each agency is expected to issue an aspirational goal of 10 percent for minority-owned businesses and 5 percent for disabled- and women-owned businesses.
