Outreach

Program / Core Services Links

Pursuant to N.C. General Statutes 143-48, 143-128.2, the HUB Office provides outreach to HUBs and state procurement officials. Outreach efforts are employed to increase the awareness of procurement and contract opportunities available for HUB vendors and contractors with state agencies and public entities. Outreach efforts consists of providing networking opportunities for HUB firms and purchasing officials through workshops, seminars, conferences, trade shows, exhibits and vendor fairs to promote awareness of goods and services available from HUB firms.

In addition to participating in these outreach events, the HUB Office also sponsors, co-sponsors, facilitates and conducts presentations for select outside events, such as the Carolinas Minority Suppliers Development Councils’ (Carolinas MSDC) Business Opportunity Expo and Conference, Executive Networking Conference.

The HUB Office also develops and maintains professional relationships with minority business development and resource organizations, including the N.C. Institute for Minority Economic Development, N.C. M/WBE Coordinators Network, Carolinas MSDC, the University System-Office of the President and United Minority Contractors of North Carolina.
