Courier Mailing Form

Official state government mail is delivered to a predetermined drop box. Designated users are provided with a key to the drop box and have the ability to deposit mail or retrieve mail daily.

Users should use the Mail Service Center Mailing Form (for Courier) with their barcode affixed and wrap this sheet around the packet of mail using thick rubber bands. There is no need to barcode each piece of mail. The mail is scanned and weighed when it arrives at the Mail Service Center (MSC) in Raleigh. The charges are determined by weight.

Those qualified to participate in the system are as follows:

  • N.C. State Government Agencies
  • UNC System
  • N.C. Community Colleges
  • N.C. Public School Systems
  • N.C. City and County Government with Ties to State Government
