Addressing Mail

MSC Mail

MSC mail being sent inter-agency within Wake County will be returned to sender if any of the following occurs:

• If your agency or the receiving agency is not an MSC Patron
• If mail is sent using a USPS postal address (MSC Number should be used)

Courier Mail

Courier mail being sent by either an agency within Wake County (MSC) or by another Courier assigned agency outside Wake County (Courier) to an agency outside Wake County (Courier):

• Use a bar code label in the right upper corner
• Clearly mark the receiving agency's Courier number (6 digits) on the outside of the mail
• Clearly mark the sending agency's MSC number or Courier number in the return address area (upper left hand corner)
