The N.C. Youth Advisory Council of the Youth Advocacy and Involvement Office has awarded $6,292 in mini-grants to 14 organizations across North Carolina to support youth programs that benefit peers and communities. The mini-grants range from $197 to $500 each.

Applications Sought For 42nd Annual Youth Legislative Assembly

The final meeting of the Eugenics Compensation Task Force will get underway at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, in Suite 200 of the Governor's Crime Commission, 1201 Front St., Raleigh. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss and vote upon recommendations to be included in a report due to Gov. Bev Perdue by Feb. 1.
