For more than 65 years, the North Carolina Division of Veterans Affairs (NCDVA)
has been a strong advocate for veterans and their families offering assistance
through a network of District and County Veterans Service Offices at no charge
to the citizen. NCDVA assist veterans and their families in the presentation,
processing, proof and establishment of claims, privileges, rights and benefits
as they may be entitled to under Federal, State or local laws. This division
provides skilled level nursing care and provides burial plots to qualified
veterans of North Carolina. NCDVA also offers a scholarship program for children
of North Carolina disabled, combat or deceased war veterans.
