The State Parking Division was established in 1957 and is located within the Department of Administration. The Division is responsible for managing the downtown state governmental parking system for employees and visitors, and coordinating commuter alternative programs for employees within the Downtown State Government Complex.

While the majority of the parking spaces are reserved for employee parking, two visitor lots are available for individuals visiting the Downtown State Government Complex and its neighboring state attractions. The State Parking map shows locations for employee, visitor and bus parking.

The Division is receipt supported through the collection of employee and visitor parking fees. Parking revenues fund the daily operations of the Division.
