A special meeting of the NC Commission of Indian Affairs will be held on Thursday, March 13, at 4:00 pm.
The purpose of the meeting is to ratify Governor Josh Stein’s appointment of Mr. Greg Bryant as Chairman of the NC Commission of Indian Affairs by the Commission membership, as required by NCGS 143B-407 (b).
This is the only matter that can be considered during the meeting. Per G.S. 143B-408(b), a majority of the 21 Indian members of the Commission must be present to constitute a quorum.
This meeting will be held at Campbell University.

Each year the North Carolina Native American Youth Organization hosts an annual conference at a college or university across the state of North Carolina. The conference is usually held the third or fourth weekend in June and lasts for 3 nights and 4 days. This year's conference will be held at UNC-Wilmington.

NC State’s 33rd Annual Powwow consists of Native business vendors, traditional drum groups, and the display of different Indigenous dance styles. It is a time for not only the native community to come together, but also a time for the NC State community as a whole to learn and engage with this rich culture.
