We provide a disposition audit trail and return maximum value for the state’s personal property. Funds from sales are returned to the state budget. - The warehouse, retail store and vehicle lot at 6501 Chapel Hill Road operate 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m, Mondays through Fridays. Keys for viewing auction vehicles are not issued after 4 p.m. We are unable to process payments after 4:30 p.m.

State Surplus Retail Locations
The State Surplus Property Agency operates its retail store at 6501 Chapel Hill Rd, Raleigh, NC and has authorized the operation of off-site retail stores at several state universities for immediate cash sale, including: North Carolina State University, UNC-Chapel Hill, UNC-Greensboro, East Carolina University, UNC-Wilmington, UNC-Pembroke, UNC-Charlotte.
