A special meeting of the NC Commission of Indian Affairs will be held on Thursday, March 13, at 4:00 pm. The purpose of the meeting is to ratify Governor Josh Stein’s appointment of Mr. Greg Bryant as Chairman of the NC Commission of Indian Affairs by the Commission membership, as required by NCGS 143B-407 (b).This is the only matter that can be considered during the meeting. Per G.S. 143B-408(b), a majority of the 21 Indian members of the Commission must be present to constitute a quorum.
