| Mandatory Contract | This is a mandatory Statewide Term Contract for state agencies, departments, institutions, universities and community colleges, unless exempted by North Carolina General Statute. Non-mandatory entities, including schools and local government, may use this contract if allowed by general statute. |
| Pricing Discount Rates and Volume Discounts | Vendor Prices are based on percentage off the MSRP, percentage discount and additional volume discounts rates. |
| Transportation Charges (FOB destination) | The minimum order to qualify for prepaid shipping is $50.00. The state will be required to use this contract for orders less than the minimum order amount. However, in such cases, the order will be shipped prepaid and actual transportation charges may be added to the invoice as a separate line item. Vendors must provide an estimated shipping amount upon request. If applicable, delivery of equipment shall not be considered to have occurred until installation has been completed. |
| Taxes | Prices do not include North Carolina sales or use taxes. |
| Warranty | Manufacturer’s standard warranty shall apply to the extent it exceeds minimum warranty requirements. Vendor warrants that all equipment furnished will be new and of good material and workmanship. The warranty will be for a minimum period of twelve (12) months or Manufacturer’s standard warranty; whichever is greater, from date equipment is put into operation. Such warranty shall cover the cost of all defective parts replacement, labor, freight, and technician travel at no additional cost to the State. |
| Maintenance Option | Following expiration of the above warranty, vendor, or third-party service provider listed above, shall maintain the system specifications and performance level in accordance with the manufacturer’s published specifications. It shall include all parts, all remedial maintenance labor, and all travel and living expenses incurred. Coverage shall be from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, except State-recognized holidays. |
