The NC Department of Administration’s Purchase & Contract Division launched a newly enhanced electronic Vendor Portal (eVP) for its eProcurement system on July 10, making it easier both for vendors and procurement agents to sell or buy goods and services for state agencies.

This year, 17 North Carolina high school girls will participate in the Lady Cardinal Mentorship Program, a summer enrichment opportunity nurturing student interest in state government science, technology, engineering and mathematic career fields.

Governor Roy Cooper has declared May 5 as a Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women to raise awareness about the disproportionate rate of American Indian and Alaska Native women who have disappeared from their homes and lost their lives due to acts of violence.
