It is a time for not only the native community to come together, but also a time for the NC State community as a whole to learn and engage with this rich culture.
The purpose of the Southeast Indian Studies Conference is to provide a forum for discussion of the culture, history, art, health and contemporary issues of Native Americans in the Southeast. The 2024 BraveNation Powwow and Gathering (BNPG) will be held Saturday, March 23, 2024, in the Jones Athletic Center at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Grand entry is at noon: doors open to the public at 10 am. The 2023 BNPG was a huge success, with more than 2,200 attendees, over 140 dancers, and 7 drum groups.
The 2024 Executive Council Winter Session is the annual meeting of the National Congress of American Indians (NCAI) Executive Council, one of NCAI’s three main governing bodies. This meeting presents an opportunity for Tribal delegates to hear from members of Congress and the Administration and helps to further the government-to-government relationship between Tribal Nations and the federal government.Register
Supporting Undergraduate Native Students (SUNS) Program Workshop

This annual workshop provides SUNS Program participants with an opportunity to network with other Native students from across the state in a casual business atmosphere while learning the skills necessary to have a successful college career. We will review program requirements, student responsibilities and proposed changes to the SUNS Program FY 2023-24 by the funding agency.
