Council for Women Statement on SB20
The NC Council for Women, which is charged with advocating for and empowering women in the state, released a statement addressing Senate Bill 20's potential impact in restricting abortion access in North Carolina.
Mini Grants Available
Youth councils, local governments and private or non-profit agencies with ideas for innovative programs to help North Carolina teens can now apply for grants up to $500 through the State Youth Council’s Mini Grant program. The application deadline is October 4.

Status of Women in North Carolina Reports
The NC Council for Women and Youth Involvement, in conjunction with the Institute for Women’s Policy Research and with generous funding support from the NC Department of Transportation, commissioned four reports covering important issues impacting North Carolina women.
