The NC Commission of Indian Affairs Annual Meeting, scheduled for Sept. 1, 2023, has been cancelled and rescheduled Sept. 15, 2023.
The North Carolina Commission of Indian Affairs Annual Meeting will be held at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke on Sept. 15, 2023, at 10 a.m.
The purpose of the meeting is to conduct the swearing-in ceremony for the newly elected and returning members to the NC Commission of Indian Affairs by the tribes and organizations. The Commission will also elect officers, appoint committee chairs, review committee appointments, and receive committee reports, Executive Director's report, etc.
