NC Division for Women & Youth
The NC Division for Women & Youth provides grant funding to organizations offering domestic violence and sexual assault services such as counseling, shelter and advocacy for survivors. It also runs programs aimed at getting youth — from high-schoolers to college students — involved in local or state government.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month
Join the Division for Women & Youth in raising awareness about domestic and intimate partner violence. Attend an awareness event in your community (see the list below), check in with those around you, and wear purple on Thursday, October 15, to honor victims and survivors and symbolize peace, courage, and survival.
