What to Expect 

Educating, enlightening and honoring excellence, is the focus of the Division of Purchase & Contract’s 2024 State Procurement Conference. The Procurement Excellence and Knowledge Conference, also known as NC PEAK, will be held April 8 – 9 at the McKimmon Conference and Training Center in Raleigh. If you’re a state procurement professional, you definitely do not want to miss this educational opportunity and a chance to network with other professionals from state agencies, universities, community colleges, as well as local governments entities and education authorities.

This year’s theme is “Continuing on the Journey to Procurement Excellence”, featuring a dynamic keynote speaker and educational sessions aimed to enrich and strengthen procurement strategies and processes among North Carolina state government agencies and institutions.

This two-day, in-person conference will also feature a special presentation highlighting agencies for their extraordinary work. The NC PEAK conference is set to host its annual Gold Star Agency Award, honoring procurement professionals and their respective agencies for outstanding public procurement services in six core categories including:
